lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma

(LIM-foh-plaz-muh-SIH-tik lim-FOH-muh) An indolent (slow-growing) type of non-Hodgkinfs lymphoma marked by abnormal levels of IgM antibodies in the blood and an enlarged liver, spleen, or lymph nodes. Also called Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia.
