chronic myeloid leukemia

(KRAHN-ik MY-eh-loyd loo-KEE-mee-a) CML. A slowly progressing disease in which too many white blood cells (not lymphocytes) are made in the bone marrow. Also called chronic myelogenous leukemia or chronic granulocytic leukemia.
