Transpiration

The term 'Transpiration' as it applies to the area of water can be defined as 'process by which water that is absorbed by plants, usually through the roots, is evaporated into the atmosphere from the plant surface, such as leaf pores. See evapotranspiration'.

The term 'Transpiration' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The process by which water in plants is transferred into water vapor in the atmosphere. Evaporation of water through the leaves of plants'.

The term 'Transpiration' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' Water discharged into the atmosphere from plant surfaces'.
