Talus

The term 'Talus' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' Sloping accumulation of rock debris; also, rock fragments at the base of a cliff as the result of slides or falls. Rock fragments mixed with soil at the foot of a natural slope from which they have been separated. Accumulation of broken rocks or boulders at the base of a cliff'.
