The term 'Pressure head' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' Energy contained by fluid because of its pressure, usually expressed in feet of fluid (foot pounds per pound)'.

The term 'Pressure head' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The amount of force or pressure created by a depth of one foot of water'.
