Polarization Radar

The term 'Polarization Radar' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' A radar which takes advantage of ways in which the transmitted waves' polarization affect the backscattering. Such radars may alternately transmit horizontal and vertically polarized beams, and measure differential reflectivity'.
