Other gas

The term 'Other gas' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' Includes manufactured gas, coke-oven gas, blast-furnace gas, and refinery gas. Manufactured gas is obtained by distillation of coal, by the thermal decomposition of oil, or by there action of steam passing through a bed of heated coal or coke'.
