Nephelometric

The term 'Nephelometric' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' A means of measuring turbidity in a sample by using an instrument called a nephelometer. A nephelometer passes light through a sample and the amount of light deflected (usually at a 90-degree angle) is then measured. The unit of measure for turbidity is a nephelometric turbidity unit (NTU)'.
