National Organic Standards Board The term 'National Organic Standards Board ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' A board established by Title 21 of the FACT Act of 1990 to develop national standards for practices and substances to be used in implementing a National Organic Program. Producers meeting these standards can sell their products as 'USDA Certified Organic.' As of mid-1999 the standards had not been finalized'.
