Land Breeze

The term 'Land Breeze' as it applies to the area of Earth observation can be defined as '  A nocturnal coastal breeze that blows from land to sea. In the evening the water may be warmer than the land, causing pressure differences. The land breeze is the flow of air from land to sea equalizing these pressure differences. See sea breeze'.

The term 'Land Breeze' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' A coastal breeze at night blowing from land to sea, caused by the difference in the rates of cooling of their respective surfaces'.
