Interflow

The term 'Interflow' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' In hydrologic terms, the lateral motion of water through the upper layers until it enters a stream channel. This usually takes longer to reach stream channels than runoff. This also called subsurface storm flow'.

The term 'Interflow' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' Lateral movement of water in the upper layer of soil'.
