Ground water table

The term 'Ground water table' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The upper boundary of ground water where water pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure, i.e., water level in a bore hole after equilibrium when ground water can freely enter the hole from the sides and bottom'.
