Foresight

The term 'Foresight' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' In hydrologic terms, a sighting on a point of unknown elevation from an instrument of known elevation. To determine the elevation of the point in question, the foresight is subtracted from the height of the instrument. '.
