Duration Curve

The term 'Duration Curve' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' In hydrologic terms, a cumulative frequency curve that shows the percent of time during which specified units of items (e.g. discharge, head, power,etc.) were equaled or exceeded in a given period. It is the integral of the frequency diagram'.
