Dendritic

The term 'Dendritic' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' In hydrologic terms, the form of the drainage pattern of a stream and it's tributaries when it follows a treelike shape, with the main trunk, branches, and twigs corresponding to the main stream, tributaries, and subtributaries, respectively, of the stream'.

The term 'Dendritic' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' Channel pattern of streams with tributaries that branch to form a tree-like pattern'.
