The term 'Deemed Status' as it applies to the area of hospitals can be defined as 'A provider or supplier that has been accredited by a CMS-approved national accreditation program and that such accreditation demonstrates compliance with the applicable conditions of participation, conditions for coverage, conditions for certification or requirements'.
