Crop rotation

The term 'Crop rotation ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' The growing of different crops, in recurring succession, on the same land in contrast to monoculture cropping. Rotation usually is done to replenish soil fertility and to reduce pest populations in order to increase the potential for high levels of production in future years'.
