Cobble (cobblestone)

The term 'Cobble (cobblestone)' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' A rock fragment, usually rounded or semirounded, with an average dimension between 3 to 12 inches; will pass a 12-inch screen, but not a 3-inch screen. A particle of rock that will pass a 12-inch (300-mm) square opening and be retained on a 3-inch (75-mm) U.S.A. Standard sieve'.
