Butane (C4H10)

The term 'Butane (C4H10)' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' A normally gaseous straight-chain or branch-chain hydrocarbon extracted from hydrocarbon extracted from natural gas or refinery gas streams. It includes isobutane and normal butane and is designated in ASTM Specification D1835 and Gas Processors Association Specifications for commercial butane'.
