Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)

The term 'Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' A multilateral organization formed in 1967 by the governments of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand to promote economic, social, and cultural cooperation among nations in the Southeast Asian region. Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar joined later'.
