Accuracy

The term 'Accuracy' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' Degree of conformity of a measure to a standard or true value; in other words, how close a predicted or measured value is to the true value'.

The term 'Accuracy' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' How closely an instrument measures the true or actual value of the process variable being measured or sensed'.
