'supervised route' is an military term meaning '(DOD,NATO) In road traffic, a roadway over which limited control is exercised by means of traffic control posts, traffic patrols, or both. Movement credit is required for its use by a column of vehicles or a vehicle of exceptional size or weight. See also route'.
