Adjustable Rate Preferred Stock (ARPS) -- Stock for which dividend is adjusted, usually every quarter, in accordance with movements in a money market rate. Also called Preferred Stock, floating rate or variable rate preferred. ARPS prices are more stable than those of fixed rate preferreds.
